Great service, Great Car.
My first visit to Capitol Car Centre wasn't what I expected firstly we were greeted by a sales man who introduced himself, he then left us alone to peruse the selection of cars they had on display the car I was looking for was a Mercedes SLK which we located it look great and as described on their web site A salesman came out and drew the car out of the line so we could have a proper look around he explained a few things about the car then left us alone with it we never felt pressured and had to approach The salesman to tell him it was just what we were looking for and bought it. Would I recommend them yes, would I buy from them again yes without hesitation.

First class experience
I can only re-iterate what the previous review stated. I was greeted by the staff who allowed me to look around and view all cars in the showroom without any fuss or obligation. Never pushy and always polite and friendly which meant a lot to me. So much so that a very easy decision was made to purchase one of their first class cars on display. They will be my first point of contact if I were ever to buy another car, though the standard of car I purchased from them could mean that it will take some time. Excellent experience. Fantastic Local Dealer for Prestige cars
Great local car dealership specialising is used prestige cars. Nothing was too much trouble. The sales man allowed plenty of time to view the car and take my time. The car was in excellent condition and the jobs we agreed pre sale where completed to a high standard. The car was ready for collection on time. The price for both my trade in and the new car where fair to both sides. There was one niggle after 3 months of ownership that was dealt with swiftly and without any fuss. This was the 1st car I have bought from them but I would now return and recommend highly to friends and family.

Effortless process from start to finish
Top lads - no breathing down your neck trying to push a sale, that being down to the fact that the cars they stock essentially sell themselves - all motors in their showroom are 10/10. I’m not going to be on the market for a new motor anytime soon, but will be a strong advocate for these lads when I know of someone who is! Get yourself down and have a chat with T or M if anything tickles your fancy, they will be more than helpful!

After weeks of searching for the right car I found it with Capitol Car Centre, I called to enquiry and before I could even ask the questions I had Chris was already answering them. Made the whole process easy & straightforward. I travelled up from Leicester was collected at the train station, was given plenty of time with the car alone, took it for a test drive and purchased it. Recently purchased a used Mercedes E 220 coupe from Capitol Car Centre. I have to say the service was first rate. Very easy to deal with, straightforward and honest. Test drove the car and collected it the next day. All went without a hitch. All his stock is presented in a first class manner. So far I’m very pleased with the car and would highly recommend them. P.S. I work in BMW sales so I like to think I know what good service should be.

Professional, courteous, friendly and honest.
A thoroughly positive experience. I was initially apprehensive to buy a car due to the restrictions imposed by lockdown - particularly paying a deposit for a car I'd never seen - but I needn't have worried, the car was pristine and as described. Everyone involved followed government guidance on social distancing, but every effort was made to make it as comfortable and as “normal” as can be given the circumstances. When we thought we'd missed my bank’s pay run (my fault, I was a little late getting there because of the weather), they were more than accommodating and set about making plans to ensure I wasn't out in the cold on my own (though thankfully, we had made the bank’s pay run.) The car is superb, it was described as pristine and after a thorough look over when there - and having lived with it for a few weeks - I can confirm the description as accurate. I can honestly say my expectations were very much exceeded. I would recommend Capitol Car Centre without hesitation or doubt.

A wonderful buying experience
Should I purchase a car that is at least 300 miles away from where I live here on the South Coast? More to the point, should I purchase a car costing thousands that I haven't even seen? It's a big question of trust to which I need not have worried. When I plucked up the courage to call Chris at the showroom, It was met with absolute professionalism and understanding. He put my mind at ease when answering the many (and I mean many!) questions I had. He had all the time in the world for me and did not once come across as a pushy salesman. Having purchased many cars in my time I have come to realise the promotional sales methods that can come into play but not here. Parting with my hard earned money has never been so calm and stress free, even arranging delivery for me and ensuring the vehicle would be everything I expect it to be. The simplest most professional car purchase ever!
From the first conversation with Chris, he installed confidence in me that he knew exactly what he was doing. My concerns about dealing with a garage nearly 100 miles away were soon forgotten by his professionalism and excellent communication keeping me up to date at every step of the process. The actual handover was the smoothest, most efficient we have ever experienced. The car was beyond how good it looked in the pictures and everything was as promised it would be during my conversations with Chris. An absolute joy and a delight to deal with!
I picked up a beautiful blue Porsche Macan yesterday from Capitol Cars and would just like to say that Mark, Chris and Anthony were an absolute joy and delight to deal with. Friendly, cheerful, informative and as ‘Un’ used-car-salesman-ish as it’s possible to be. My new and very large rescue dog wouldn’t fit, (safely), into my SLK … hence the Macan purchase and Anthony, (the awesome valeter), not only looked after Wooster the dog whilst I viewed the car but sourced a dog guard AND a boot liner for me AND made me some new registration plates when the ones I’d arrived with had the holes in the wrong places. Now, that really, really is going above and beyond the call of duty ~ the chaps at Capitol Cars most certainly can be relied upon to go the extra mile!

The Best Car Buying Experience Ever - Capital Car Centre, Fulwood, Preston.
Hi - I am never one to recommend a business or service unless that company has exceeded my highest expectations and Capital Car Centre of Fulwood, Preston have certainly went way, way far above my expectation. In recent years I have always dealt with main motor dealerships, which most times come nowhere near my least expectations, however, on searching on the net for a classic car, I came across Capital Cars, which coincidentally is just 2 miles from where I live in Preston. As they are somewhat off the main Blackpool Road, I had never been passed their showroom. First impression was here was a business which dealt in excellently presented Prestige cars, however, my interest was in a 2005 BMW E46, a soon to be a Classic Car, some would say that it is already a Classic! It seemed to be out of place in a showroom with £30K plus Maseratis, Porsche's, Mercedes, etc, etc. On speaking with Chris the owner, I was immediately attracted by his friendliness and when shown to the car I was left alone to look over the car. I could see from all the documentation that this car had been very well looked after by it's previous owner, as all the service history and all the MOT's since 2008 were all in a file on the passenger seat. I immediately decided that this car was definitely coming home with me and in a few weeks time on it's way to Spain, where I have a holiday home. Chris assured me that the car would be serviced and PDI, prior to being collected by me, even though it had been serviced just a couple of weeks earlier by the previous owner and the receipt was amongst all the paperwork. On collection the car was in absolute pristine condition and after some administration, ie paying for the car, etc, Anthony, Chris's brother, went. through most of the controls, most of which I was familiar with as I have had BMW for the last twenty years or so, but it was a nice touch, this is a family business and the sort of service you do not get in a main dealership. I can absolutely recommend Chris at Capital Car Centre, Fulwood Preston to anyone who wants to purchase a quality car, professionally presented by a truly customer focused family firm. Michael

I was lucky to find the car I was after at this smaller specialist dealer. I was lucky in two respects 1) it represented the best value for money for me after charting all the other cars available within 100 miles on an age, mileage ,and spec basis, 2) Capital turned out to be only 5 miles from my home. When I went to view the car it was immaculate as were all of their other cars. So much so that I also took a photo of another car I had been interested in as a present for my wife. I liked the fact that the owner of the business buys the cars and is very discerning. Chris the salesman is a long term friend of the owner and between them they work hard to deliver a great customer experience working on different days to extend the time they can make themselves available to help customers. The experience was so good with the first car I purchased I went back and bought the other car I had seen a month later. This was another spreadsheet purchase as I could not find a better example at the price anywhere else in the country. With Capital you know you are not going to waste you time travelling to see the car as every car I have seen there is a showroom example.

I searched for the car I wanted by colour, age and make - after trawling through lots of sales sites, I found one that looked good at a great price at Capitol Cars. This was evident when after a week of ownership an issue with the vehicle was detected. As I live in the Scottish highlands Chris & Mark advised me to book it into a local Audi specialist.
