The BMW i8. A sports car that looks as cool and futuristic today as it did when it first hit the British streets in 2014. The main thing that sets itself apart from other sports cars is that it's as fast as an M4 but has the economy statistics of a Toyota Prius and astonishingly only £20 a year to tax!! Therefore a guilty pleasure you don't have to feel guilty about! The engine also won the 2015 international engine of the year award. The i8's 1.5-liter, 3-cylinder, 357 hp (362PS) hybrid powertrain beat Ferrari, Tesla, McLaren, and others to the top award.The rear engine with a BHP of 230 is married up with a front electric motor producing 130 BHP to give a combined 360 BHP and a 0 to 60 in just 4.4 seconds!! These tarmac predators where over £100k new, this one £106k with a few extras. Being not mass produced and ending production in 2020 will make them quite a rare commodity which have good residulas now, and who knows what kind of values these will reach in time to come!?
