The Cayman Introduced In 2006 wasn't just a light cluster tweak etc. of an existing model It was a fresh concept so pretty much they knew exactly what they were creating after years of expertise. Therefore bringing into the market a very well designed coupe! so much so it begs the question is it worth paying all that extra for a 911 when the Cayman out handles a 911 (better weight distribution) and not much in it on speed (dampened by Porsche themselves to try and keep some kind of level between the two!)
